Chapter 1

He was sitting on his bed, looking at his reflection on the closet mirrors, when did life started hurting so much? She was in the room besides his, so close yet so far away. This was painful, it was fucking painful but he had to be here, tomorrow is an important day for her. The day her life was beginning again and the beginning of the end of his. He laid back on the bed and looked over at the wall clock: 8:32 pm. He closed his eyes trying to fall asleep, he needed to rest if he planned on making it through the next painful day.

He heard the door being open and he looked up, it was dark but he knew who it was. The moon light that shined through the window lighted up her brown hair.

She looked adorable in her one piece polka dots pajamas, the ones that he had seen on her a thousand times and the ones that he loved so much. She walked over to him as he sat up and she sat on the bed next to him. They stayed there for a couple of minutes staring at each others eyes, saying so many unspoken things until she pulled him in for a hug. A long, sweet hug.

"I’m sorry" she mumbled against his shirt.

"Don’t be" she looked up at him and brought her lips to his, kissing him lightly, he kissed back just as sweetly as she did. She pulled back and he saw the tears gathering up in her beautiful eyes.

"Nika, please don’t cry, please don’t make this harder for us. This is not your fault, it just wasn’t meant to be" he could feel his eyes starting to water, but he hold them back, he needed to be strong for her, for them.

"I .. I … God! This is so unfair!!" she was already crying " I want to be with you!! I lov…"

"Don’t!! Nicki please dont say it" he let go of her and stood up facing away from her.

She stood up and wrapped her hands around him but he pulled away and turned to face her

"Nicki please just leave, go back to your room, don’t do this"

"Dont do what Aubrey?! Hug you? Tell you that I’m gonna miss you? Tell you that I fucking love you??!" she crashed her lips against his, forcefully full of passion and desire.

There was nothing sweet about this kiss. Drake kissed back even if he knew that it was wrong, even if he knew that they couldn’t be together. Her tongue gained entranced to his mouth and she roamed all over, tasting every inch of him, wanting to save this in her memories. One of her hands grabbed his neck to pull him closer while the other went up and down his chest. He wrapped his against her waist. She moaned against his mouth and he quickly pulled away, not letting go of her waist. They just stood there, until he felt her hands go to the hem of his shirt and touching his bare chest, before he knew what was happening she took off his shirt as she continued to explore with her hands, he just looked at her and melted under her touch. She kissed him again briefly and then replaced her roaming hands on his chest with her lips.

"Nic, stop" he said grabbing her face and forcing her to look up at him “This… This is not right and you know it"

"I don’t care. Aubrey I want you" she said looking intently into his eyes.

"Onika, I can’t, it’s wrong, forb…" she crashed her lips into his again

"Yes you can, Drake please" her voice started breaking " I…I need you to…" she looked down "… to be the first one"

He lifted her face with his finger and placed a small kiss on her lips

"You know I love you Nicki, and there’s nothing I want more than make love to you and call you mine, but I can’t because you are not mine and you will never be. Tomorrow we’ll wake up and the dream will be over, replaced by a cruel reality… Our cruel reality and this….this is going to make it harder on us, especially on you"

She turned away from him, letting out a couple of tears and wiping them before turning to him again

"I am yours and I will always be. I don’t care about tomorrow I care about tonight" she said reaching for her pajamas taking it off and trowing it on the floor. Drake stared at her almost naked form with wide eyes, this was too much for him.

"Aubrey" Nicki moved closer to him and smirked when she saw his eyes traveling down her body “Make love to me cause I will never forgive you if you don’t"

Drake’s self control cracked the minute she said those words and his lips crashed into hers. This time he allowed his hands to travel down her body, exploring each part of her beautiful and soft skin. Nicki pulled away from the mind blowing kiss to take off his pants and as soon as that was out of the way she searched for his lips again. One of his hands was now traveling around her inner thigh while the other was lost in her hair, Nicki let out a small moan and threw her head backwards, Drake’s lips immediately when to her neck and she started to feel her knees go weak under his touch and kisses. He noticed so he grabbed her hand and walked over to the bed sitting down and pulling her onto his lap.

He took a minute to hug her close and breathe in her scent. He kissed her again slowly entering his tongue in her mouth, taking it as slow as he could. Nicki shivered and moaned a little bit louder this time.

"Shh… You’re gonna give us away, everyone is just downstairs" she blushed suddenly remembering where they where and that what they were about to do was forbidden for them, especially in her grandparents house.

"I love you Aubrey"

"I love you too Nic, now and ever…. Forever"

They didn’t speak after that… He made love to her as sweetly as possible, saving each part of her perfect body on his mind, knowing that this was the first and last time he was going to have her like this.

She looked beautiful, her hair was tied up in a messy classy ponytail. Her dress was gorgeous, not the traditional white, long wedding gown, hers was a dirty white, it went a little above her knees and it hugged her curves. She was without a doubt the prettiest, sexier bride in the whole world. He had been staring at her for the past half an hour without paying attention to what they were saying, until it was her turn to respond.

"And do you Onika Tanya Maraj Graham take Kris Ware as your beloved husband to love him until death brings you apart?"

"I do" she said in a small weak voice.

"….. I now pronounce you husband and wife, you make kiss the bride"

Aubrey watched as Kris kissed her and felt his stomach tighten…… But he had no right to feel this way.

Everyone in his family went over to congratulate the newlyweds and that was honestly the last thing he wanted to do.

"Drake!" he heard his brother Dylan calling him over to where Nicki and Kris where and he started walking towards them, his eyes meeting Nicki’s. He thought about how pretty she was, he was lost in his thoughts until Dylan interrupted him

"Come on Drake aren’t you going to congratulate you favorite cousin and her beloved husband?"

"Yeah, of course" he shake Kris’ hand “Congrats dude, make her happy"

"I’ll try my best"

He turned to Nicki and hugged her tight.

"Congratulations cuz"

"Thanks" she said choking back her tears “I love you" she whispered in his ear.

" I love you too, now and ever… Forever" he whispered back before pulling away and walking out… Out of the place and out of her life
